It's easy to do business with us by mail. We ship instruments, amplifiers and accessories throughout the U.S. and abroad daily. We have been shipping guitars and amplifiers for nearly 30 years and you can therefore rest assured that your order will be delivered to you quickly and safely. All shipments made by us are fully insured. Also, all new products are fully covered by the manufacturer's warranty and used gear usually carries our 30 day mail-order warranty.

We normally ship the same or next business day that we receive an order. Occasionally, at the time of your order, the item has not yet arrived at our warehouse from our supplier.
Most backorders are filled within 2-10 days. Your credit card will not be charged until the item on backorder is ready to be shipped (exceptions are low priced items that are part of a larger order).
If a backorder cannot be filled within 2-10 days you will be notified at the time of the order.
Please let us know if backorders are not acceptable or if delivery times of more than 10 days areacceptable.

The easiest and fastest way to order used gear or other items not on our web site is to place a credit card phone order. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Along with your card number and expiration date, we also require your credit card billing address and phone number. Your order will be authorized and your account will be billed the day of the order.

All stringed instruments ordered from IGS receive a complete professional set up by a qualified guitar technician. Set up includes complete cosmetic inspection, new strings of your choice, truss rod adjustment, action set up, pickup adjustment, electronic tuning and intonation adjustment, and final test for playability. (Used amplifiers and effects get a final burn-in and performance test before shipping). We take pride in having the finest guitar and amp technicians in the mail order industry.

Most stringed instruments sold by IGS are shipped UPS Ground service for $35.00. Alaska and Hawaii is shipped UPS 2 day Blue Label service for about $100.00.(3 day Orange, 2 day Blue, and overnight Red Label is also available throughout the 48 states).

We ship instruments world wide. Our shipping department assures safe delivery of guitars anywhere in the world. We use UPS and DHL wherever possible. You are responsible for any import duties, V.A.T., etc. on delivery. It is advisable to consult with your local customs office. Please order carefully. Bank to bank wire transfers seem to work best on foreign orders.

Most small goods (pedals, accessories, etc.) are $7.00 and up for UPS Ground service. Size and weight of amplifiers vary greatly. Typically UPS Ground service starts at $25.00 and goes up. If you buy using our on-line shopping cart the shipping charge will be calculated for you. Please call for a shipping price if the piece you wish to purchase is not available on-line.

We pay cash for fine fretted instruments, amplifiers, and effects. Trades and consignment are also welcome. Simply call with an accurate description of you piece and we will discuss pricing and shipping.
