"Gibson gives you the most with its SG Custom. Three extra "hot" Super Humbucking Pickups capture every subtle string vibration. And the sensitive tone controls let you create more sounds and styles than ever before. Your fingers can fly across the ebony fingerboard with exclusive low frets. If you want to make the most music, get the guitar with the most to offer... Gibson's SG Custom." So states the original sales leaflet from Gibson in 1973. There is always something special about a three pickup offering from Gibson. Some bozo installed a mini toggle switch, and then removed it and had the back of the guitar professionally "plugged" (as well as a new pickguard) to cover their tracks. If it wasn't for the plug, we would rate the condition of this guitar as excellent. "Cool factor" is very high.

The Music Man John Petrucci 6-String Electric Guitar has a maple neck featuring an adjustable truss rod and 5-bolt mounting to the basswood body for perfect alignment and no slipping. A sculpted neck joint allows free access to upper frets. The Petrucci 6 guitar's rosewood fretboard has 24 wide, high-profile frets. Schaller locking tuners and custom John Petrucci tremolo complete the hardware. 2 Custom DiMarzio humbucking pickups were specially designed for Petrucci. Piezo bridge adds bright, natural string vibration tones to the mix. 3-way selector has a custom center-position configuration, for more sonic sculpting. This particluar example finished in Pearl Redburst with rosewood fretboard with matching headstock, is one sweet guitar.
