In January 2008 the G&L Custom Creations team located some very special Spalted Maple with which to run an ultra-limited production.
G&L used this truly unique wood to build the popular ASAT Classic Bluesboy. This fine instrument has all of the same features and specifications as the ASAT Classic Bluesboy with the addition of an intricately figured Spalted Maple Top. This wood is highly regarded and sought after for its incredible tone."
